2021 Year in Awards for G6 Moco

It’s been an incredible year for the G6 MoCo team. It feels amazing to have our work recognised by industry awards, here’s a summary of some of the highlights in 2021:

To kick things off, the music video we did moco shots for Little Mix’s ‘Sweet Melody’ went straight to #1 in the UK charts. This was followed by another explosive music video we did moco shots for - Russ Millions and Tion Wayne’s ‘Body’ also went to #1 in the UK charts and broke records on GRM daily’s YouTube channel as the quickest music video to reach 10 million views. ‘Body’ also became a viral TikTok dance challenge, our BTS video on TikTok racked up a whopping 3.8M views alone.

Later in the year, our founder Rammy had a double win as his entrepreneurial success was recognised by Prolific North with ‘Tech Entrepreneur of the Year’ and highly commended Digital, Media, or Creative Professional of the Year at the Manchester Young Talent Awards.

To finish it off, many more music videos we provided our high-speed cinema robot services for, were shortlisted at the UK VMAs. We were thrilled that Pa Salieu’s ‘My Family’ went on to win best music video in the grime/hip-hop category.

What a year it’s been! It’s a honour to be recognised with these awards for our work. Congrats to the rest of the teams who worked on these productions. Here’s to more success in 2022.
